Chinese Writing Stone is a porphyritic basalt (porphyry) with groups and rosettes of plagioclase feldspar.
It occurs in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia near Whim Creek.
Store will be closed for about a week while we are away mining. Re-opening around 16th May.
