PA286 Pilbara Agate , cut and polished on one side with a rough, natural back and a cut base to sit as a display specimen !
Dimensions at widest points are approximately 230 mm x 130 mm x 100 mm. thick.
Weighs 4,401 grams.
Studies have shown that these are probably the oldest agates in the world with an age in excess of 2 billion years. They occur in the Maddina Formation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
