The "Carawine Dolomite" is a geological formation that occurs in numerous isolated areas in the eastern part of the Hamersley Basin in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
It contains numerous occurrences of stromatolites and oncolites with an age of between 2.5 to 2.6 billion years.
