Dendritic Opal.
Also called Dendritic Opalite and Moss opal. Dendrites are the small inclusions that look like moss or plant growths within the rock. They are actually iron and/or manganese oxides that have infiltrated as the rocks are forming.
The Dendritic Opal on our mining claims come in a wide variety of colours and patterns.
Many deposits of common opal occur in Western Australia.
Our claims are located close to a gold mining area called Grant's Patch which is about 55 km north west of Kalgoorlie.
